Is your sea moss wildcrafted?
ABSOLUTELY! Island Dream’s sea moss gels and products are made with 100% wildcrafted sea moss harvested in the Caribbean Sea surrounding the island of St. Lucia.
What is shelf life on sea moss products?
Sea moss gels
PLEASE be sure to refrigerate your gels as soon as you receive it. At the recommended dosage of 1-2 tablespoons per day, one jar will last an estimated 2-3 weeks in the refrigerator (FRUIT INFUSED WILL ONLY LAST 10-12 DAYS) and up to 6 months in the freezer. We recommend turning gel into ice cubes (transfer to ice cube trays and freeze) and pop out for daily use. If you accidentally leave your jar out or it has been 4 or more weeks in the refrigerator, PLEASE THROW IT AWAY! If you are purchasing more than one jar at a time, we do recommend keeping all other jars in the freezer until that first jar is either almost or completely gone.
Sea moss juices
All juices are freshly made and do not contain any type of preservatives. They are to be consumed within 72 hours; however, you can freeze them to preserve and extend shelf life. Our hibiscus lemonade is the only exception; it can last about 10 days.
Sea moss masks
Masks should be kept refrigerated. You can split jar in half and place in freezer.
Sea moss soaps
Soaps are good for 1 year and should be kept in a dry area (i.e. soap dish away from water).
Should my sea moss have a taste?
Essentially, no. Sea moss in itself is tasteless and acts like a chameleon; it will adapt the taste of whatever is added to it. Infused sea moss gels will have the flavor of whatever it is infused with. It SHOULD NOT be overly sweet.
How should sea moss be consumed?

Sea moss is intended to be consumed orally. It can be taken by itself or can be added to smoothies, oatmeal, porridge, grits, teas, soups, stews, puddings, even milk/applesauce that is given to a toddler!
Homemaker? Listen, go ahead can add plain sea moss gel those homemade jams and jellies.
Can children consume sea moss?
YES! I do suggest for children 6-12 (1 teaspoon) & children 5 & under (½ teaspoon).
Can pregnant women consume sea moss?
YES! (excluding bladderwrack)
I have seafood allergy … can I consume sea moss?
YES, you can. Sea moss is an edible sea vegetable.
We always advise clients with allergies to consult with their physician prior to adding sea moss to their daily diet.
Can your sea moss be used topically?
Why, YES! Check out our sea moss masks, or feel free to purchase a plain jar and use it as a hair/face mask.

Do any of your sea moss products contain sweetener?
Sugar (or substitute) sweeteners? NO. Some of our gels (namely the fruit combos) are sweetened with organic pitted dates. Our elderberry does contain a mixture of raw, organic honey and coconut sugar, while our 'pure' blends (plain, spiced up, green detox) is void of sweeteners.
Our hibiscus lemonade is sweetened with raw, organic honey.

Shipping
What are your shipping methods?
All products are made to order and will be shipped within 7-10 business days via UPS.
Because our soaps non-perishable, we do give our customers the options of using USPS.
Order processing time is 2-4 business days with shipping adding an additional 1-3 business days depending on your shipping distance from our shipping location. We strive to provide quick order processing; however, due to the number of orders received or other issues outside of our control, it may take longer. Please allow 7-10 business days (DOES NOT include holidays or the weekend (Saturday & Sunday)) from which the order was placed to receive your order.
SHIPPED ORDERS
NOTE: If you have juices included with your order, it is recommended that shipping be adjusted to Next Day Air.
Once your order ships, you will receive notification via email. We ask that you track daily (using the 'track my package' feature) to catch any issues. If for any reason there is an issue with your shipment, please contact us immediately via our contact page.
Shipped orders will go out weekly on Mondays, Tuesdays, & Wednesdays (please have your order in by the Friday prior to). This policy safeguards packages are not sitting at shipping facilities over the weekend and ensures maximum freshness of our products. Orders placed after Friday, will be shipped out the following week.
NOTE: It may take 12-24 hours for tracking information to be updated by the carrier.
STANDARD SHIPPING TIMES:
Via UPS: 1-2 business days from date that the order is shipped.

NOTE: We ask that patience is exerted with the shipping services as extended times may occur due to COVID-19.
Once your order has been received, PLEASE refrigerate or place in freezer IMMEDIATELY. Island Dream cannot be held responsible for orders that are left outside or not picked up as sea moss is a heat sensitive product.
LOCAL ORDERS
Pickup: All local orders will have a 7-10 business day turn around period. Customers will be notified via email once order is ready for pick up; instructions will also be included.
NOTE: We are unable to hold orders. If you are unable to pick up, please see delivery information below.
Delivery: Available for an added charge for customers within a 25 mi radius. All deliveries will take place on Sundays. Please ensure that the correct address is listed when checking out. If the delivery address is different from billing address, please list the correct delivery address in the 'note to seller' box.
To have your order delivered, select 'shipping'. Once the shipping options are listed, please select 'local delivery'; your charge will populate and you can continue to check out.
Can I place an order and pick it up?
Yes, local pick-up is available for DeSoto & Shelby County customers (or surrounding counties who frequent the area and are willing to drive).
To place a pick-up order, please add items to your cart and select 'pick up' during checkout. Our pick-up zip code is 38637.
Once your order is ready, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions for pick up.
How much will shipping cost me?
Shipping costs vary and is based on the destination of your package. Once your zip code has been entered, your shipping charges will be populated.
Can I track my order?
Absolutely! Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a UPS tracking number. Feel free to download the UPS app and create an account.
While this is a rare occurrence, there are sometimes glitches within technology. If, for any reason, you do not receive a tracking number via email or text, please get in touch with us at info@islanddreamwellness.com or on our contact page with your order number, full name, shipping address, and e-mail address so that we can make sure you have everything necessary to track your order.

Do you accept orders via phone or e-mail?
No, all orders must be placed and paid for via our website.
Do you also have a physical store?
At this time, we do not.
Do I have the right to return an item?
Due to the nature of our products, all sales are final. If there is a shipping issue beyond our control, we will do our absolute best to provide the finest customer service.
On the condition that the package was lost or the product was received damaged/defective, contact us within 24 hrs. of receipt (please be sure to include any pertinent photo/videos). A replacement will be sent out to the original address at no additional cost to you. In the event that a refund is warranted, it will be issued to the original method of payment.
Please allow 7-10 business days for refunds to post as times vary by financial institution.
This policy does not include product that was left neglected by customer causing spoilage.
